Nettie Lemmen

Mrs. Nettie Ione Lemmen, age 94, went to be with her lord Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was born in Byron Center, Michigan on November 17, 1922 to Albertus & Stella (Haase) Strick and married Lloyd Lemmen on June 29, 1946. Mrs. Lemmen received a Bachelors Degree from Hope College and remained a generous supporter her entire life. She loved to travel, work puzzles and do needlecraft, but family remained her focus. Ione was a prior member, elder & deacon of Westwood Reformed Church. SURVIVORS Son, Lloyd James (Darlene DeHudy) Lemmen MD; daughters, Kathleen Lemmen MD (Neil Lewinski), Mileah (Roger) Brink, Lauri (Dennis) Atkinson; grandchildren, Matthew (Katherine) Lewinski, Kristin Lewinski, Andrew Brink, Melissa Brink, Jessica Lewinski, Cameron Van Eyl, Anikka Van Eyl; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Lemmen MD; sister, Mary Louise VanderKolk. SERVICE A private family service will be held VISITATION Tuesday, 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Alzheimer's Association or National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Mercy Hospital.
