Nettie Golidy

Mrs. Nettie M. Golidy (Townsel) passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Brookhaven Medical Care. She was born in Starkville, MS on January 15, 1931. She moved to Muskegon in 1955. She married the late Soloman Golidy. She is survived by a son, David Julius (Cindy) Townsel of LaPorte, IN; 3 daughters, Georgette, Claudia Golidy and Tracy (Trent) Boyles of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Heaster Sanders, Rosie Potts, Lena Blackshire and Mattie Jones; brother Jim (Gerline) Townsel, all of Muskegon; A.Z. (Helen) Townsel of New Boston, MI; sister-in-law Kattie Townsel; a host of nieces & nephews. Visitation: Wednesday, 4-9 at Toombs Chapel, family hour 6-7. Funeral Service: Thursday, 12:00 noon. Christ Temple Apostolic. Bishop Willie Burrel, officiating. Interment: Oakwood.
