NIENHUIS , MR. NELSON W. Spring Lake Mr. Nelson W. Nienhuis, age 71, of Spring Lake, died Sunday, July 3, 2005. He was born in Holland, MI on December 5, 1933 to Henry and Johanna Dyke Nienhuis and married Mary Klynstra on March 26, 1953. He was a member of Spring Lake Wesleyan Church and also an active member of the Grand Haven Steelheaders. SURVIVORS Wife of 52 years, Mary; son, Nelson Christine Nienhuis II of Spring Lake, MI; 4 daughters, Debra John McFarlane of Jonesboro, AK, Barbara Daniel Potts of Beulah, MI, Karen Blaine Johnson of Duluth, MN and Brenda Lee Warner of Spring Lake, MI; 11 grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Nienhuis was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Alvin & Roger Nienhuis and a grandson, Geoffrey Potts. SERVICE A Private Funeral Service for MR. NELSON W. NIENHUIS, age 71, will be held.Interment at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Holland, MI. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven. Memorial : Benevolent Fund of Spring Lake Wesleyan Church.
