Nellmae Kline

Mrs. Nellmae Kline, age 85, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011. She was born in Muskegon, MI on August 10, 1926 to Garrett & Jeanette (Holwerda) Tjapkes and married Donald Kline on March 11, 1949. Mrs. Kline had been employed as a bus driver for Fruitport Public Schools for 20 years until retiring in 1993. She was a member of Fruitport Christian Reformed Church and a former member of the West Shore Symphony and was a long time pianist. She enjoyed square dancing, but foremost always enjoyed her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Gary Kline of Muskegon, Stephen Kline of Muskegon, Ken (Ivy) Kline of WI; daughters, Donna Leatherman of Cadillac, Karen Lamb of Fruitport; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Elmer (Esther) Tjapkes of Fruitport; sisters, Helen Miles of Muskegon, Frances (Howard) Jones of Fruitport, Carol (Jake) Swieringa of Fruitport; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and son, Kevin. SERVICE Saturday, August 20, 2011, 11:00 AM at Fruitport Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Robert Pohler officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 5-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Fruitport Christian Reformed Church.
