Nellie I. Menning

Mrs. Nellie I. Menning, age 95, a resident for the past several years at Christian Care Senior Care Community & the Nursing Center, died Monday, September 29, 2008. She was born in Cora Township, Kansas on November 22, 1912 to Will & Myrtle (Payne) Olson and married Marion Primmer who passed in 1964 and then Alfred Menning who passed in 1983. Mrs. Menning had been a Homemaker who attended Christian Life Church of Spring Lake & Calvary Temple of Fruitport. SURVIVORS Sons, Gerald Primmer of AK, Norman (Judy) Primmer, MN; daughters, Janet Russell of Muskegon, Carol White of TX; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Viola Koon of Grand Rapids. SERVICE A service will be held at Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton, IA with her grandson, Pastor David Russell officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Iowa.
