Nelda Hofmann

Mrs. Nelda Hofmann, age 78, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born January 13, 1930 to Joseph A. and Helen (Bassett) Moreau in Boston, MA and resided in the area since 2001. She was a member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church and volunteered for the American Red Cross and Volunteer Muskegon. On March 17, 2001 she married Herbert Hofmann, and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2005. SURVIVORS include son, David (DJ) Dynes of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Eric (fiancee', Lisa Szmansky) Dynes, and Justine Marie Dynes; 3 sisters, Erlene Riley of New Hampshire, Ruth Healy of Connecticut, and Mary Ann Halford of Utah; brother, Albert Moreau of California; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hofmann was also preceded in death by her first husband, Valentine Dynes in August 1999. Memorial Services will be held in Connecticut. Burial will take place in Norton Cemetery.
