Nedine Kolmodin

Mrs. Nedine A. Kolmodin, age 89, went to be with her Lord Friday, June 29, 2012 at Christian Care Senior Care. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 4, 1922 to Charles & Anna (Nelson) Killberg and married Rev. Kenneth E. Kolmodin on August 10, 1946. Mrs. Kolmodin had been an elementary teacher at Muskegon Public Schools for years until retiring. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church where she was also a Sunday school teacher and choir director. Nedine loved Bible study and Center Lake Camp while enjoying camping, fishing, music, knitting. She was most known for her volunteer work. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Children, Kenneth (Linda) Kolmodin Jr. of Albion, Claire Ann (John Carstens) Kolmodin of MN, David (Deborah) Kolmodin of Houghton Lake, Barbara (Richard) Coursey of NM; grandchildren, Karen (Michael) MacDonell of Northville, Emily (Anthony) Romeo of IL, Joel (Kate) Kolmodin of OH, Timothy (Stacey) Kolmodin of NC, Kimberly Kolmodin of CA, Melodie Kolmodin of Spring Arbor, Sarah Coursey of NM; great grandchildren, Deegan & Alanah Kolmodin, Joseph Romeo, Connor MacDonell, Julian Kolmodin. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Kenneth Sr. in 1999. SERVICE Tuesday, July 3, 2012, 2:00 PM at Lakeside Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Husmann officiating. Family Interment at Lakeside Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon and Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL: International Aid or Christian Care.
