Nancy Winborn

Mrs. Nancy Lynette Winborn, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Sandwich, Illinois on April 10, 1941 to Alvin & Cleora (Earl) Anderson and attended Sandwich High School. Nancy started working office positions and for Youth for Christ for many years. She was a certified tax preparer and real estate broker. Nancy married David Winborn on September 21, 1973 and they lived in Suburban Chicago and moved to the Muskegon/Whitehall area in 2000 after vacationing here for many years. Nancy loved to travel and enjoyed doing craft projects. She was loved by many friends and family and attended Whitehall United Methodist Church for a number of years. SURVIVORS Survivors include her husband of 41 years, David; stepsons, Bill Winborn & family, Warren (Carolla) Winborn & family; stepdaughter, Sharon (Tony) Cesany & grandson, Christopher; niece, Kelly (Jeff) Summerfeld & family; nephews, Carrie (Janet) Porter & family, Scott Porter & family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Allen & David and sister, Sandra. SERVICE Friday, June 26, 2015, 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at Whitehall United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary A. Sweet officiating.
