Nancy Wampler

Mrs. Nancy Wampler, 81, of Grand Blanc, died Aug. 19, 2012. Nancy was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Muskegon, daughter of Hilmer and Olga Anderson. She married David Wampler in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was a 1953 University of Michigan graduate in the dept. of education. In the 1960s, Nancy and David moved to Grand Blanc where she later sold real estate and her husband served on the Grand Blanc City Council; she donated much of her time to volunteer work and was an avid golfer at area courses. Nancy was an ardent supporter of shelter dogs and would be pleased if you made a donation to your local animal shelter in her name. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home, Grand Blanc Township, and Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon. SURVIVORS Surviving are her sister-in-law, Mary D.
