Nancy Raye Peterson, age 84, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024. She was born in Portage, PA on February 19, 1939 to James & Marian (McCartney) Moore. Nancy worked at and retired from Sears after 25 years then earned her LPN degree, and enjoyed nursing for many years before retiring. Nancy was a member of Lebanon Lutheran Church, since she moved to Michigan in 1969. She enjoyed volunteering, especially, for summer celebrations and Moosefest. She loved going to hockey games and movies, was an avid bowler and liked to visit nursing homes to tell her many jokes. She was an immense joy to be around and her smile and laugh will be missed greatly.

SURVIVORS

Nancy is survived by her children, Cynthia (Daniel) Lombard, Thomas Peterson, and Melissa Peterson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek) Kater, Elizabeth (Jason) Scott, Kevin (Kelsey) Lombard, Paul (Brianna) Lombard, Kara (Drew) Roesler, Eric (Tonya) Stokes, and Cassidy Hall; and great grandchildren, Emma Scott, Tyler Scott, Kellen Kater, Layne Kater, Maren Kater, Rowen Kater, Wade Lombard, Avery Roesler, and Lauren Roesler. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marian; daughter, Deborah, and siblings; James, Judith, and Gerald.

SERVICE

Friday, February 16, 2024, 11:00AM at Lebanon Lutheran Church with Pastor Doug Ogen officiating. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Memorial contributions to https://lebanonlutheranchurch.com/donate/
