Nancy Bunks

Nancy J. Bunks, age 78, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon, MI on April 9, 1932 to Arthur & Margaret (Wiers) Anderson. Nan graduated from Muskegon High School in 1950 and later moved to Washington DC where she was employed by the FBI and later for Senator Homer Ferguson. Upon returning to Muskegon in 1955, she worked for many years as a legal secretary for the law firm, McCroskey, Feldman, Cochrane & Brock. On October 18, 1957, she married Wesley "Coach" Bunks in Muskegon. She and Wes spent many wonderful years traveling around the world, spending winters in Puerto Vallarta and skiing in Salt Lake City. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2002. Nancy was a member of Community United Methodist Church and the Vikings Linne Lodge #57. SURVIVORS Nan is survived by her brothers, James (Joan) Anderson of AZ and William (Nancy) Anderson of FL; sister, Suzanne A. (Thomas) Munroe of North Muskegon; three nieces, five nephews; her kind, compassionate companion and dear friend of many years, George Gimakas. MEMORIAL SERVICE Will be held at a later date.
