Nancy A. Ashley

Nancy A. Ashley, age 69, passed away at home under the loving care of her family on February 10, 2008. Surviving are five children, Jeff (Misty) Ashley, Monnie Ashley, Konnie Ashley, James Ashley, and Mike Ashley; five grandchildren, Eleanor, Jared, Richard, Angela, and Jennifer; one great-grand-daughter; three sisters, Arla Rose (Kenneth) Powell, Sue (Wendell) Hutchinson, and Coralyn Connelly; several nieces and nephews; and special sisters, Lois (Harold) Larabee and Sharon Smith. Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Eleanor Matheny, along with two brothers, Walter and Myron, and three sisters, Virginia, Dusty, and Marilyn. Nancy retired from DeBoer Nursing Home. Nancy was very involved with her family, enjoying camping and fishing. She was active with her children through PTA and Scouting. Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
