She was born in Harvey, IL on December 2, 1919 to Charles & Gladys Smith Cotton & married James J. Sullivan Jr. on November 24, 1938 in Muskegon, MI. Mrs. Sullivan had been employed as a beautician & then worked at Howmet as a finisher for 20 years prior to retiring in 1985. She was a long time member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS Children, James Marianne Sullivan of Muskegon, MI, Patricia Ted Wierenga of N. Muskegon, MI, Richard Sullivan of Muskegon, MI & Peggy Ruiter of Grand Rapids, MI; 15 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; 1 sister, Margaret Spencer of CA; 2 brothers, Charles Joyce Cotton & Lloyd Donna Cotton, both of Muskegon, MI; special sister-in-law, Phyllis Sullivan of FL; brother-in-law, Bernell June Sullivan of Muskegon, MI; several nieces & nephews; special cousin, Wendell Cotton of OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, Jr. in 2001. SERVICE Saturday, April 26, 2003, 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Rev. John Grostic & Pastor Tom Williamson officiating.
