IRWIN, MRS. FLORENCE M. Village of Fruitport Mrs. Florence M. Irwin, age 90, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 9, 1915 to Roy & Pearl (Persing) Strevel & married Charles Irwin on May 18, 1936. Mrs. Irwin had been employed as a accountant at Nugent Sand until retiring in 1980. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Fruitport, Eastern Star of Murphysboro, IL for 55 years, Happy Wanderers & Holiday Rambler Travel Trailer Clubs. Mrs. Irwin was past president of Women Accountants of Muskegon. She enjoyed traveling & sewing, but foremost was her family. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Charles (Frances) Irwin of Fruitport & Edward (Diane) Irwin of Fruitport; 1 daughter, Beverly Sue Irwin of Fruitport; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alice Schottey of Muskegon & Virginia Page of Muskegon; 1 sister-in-law, Eva Strevel of Spring Lake; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles & a brother, Roy Strevel. SERVICE Saturday, January 28, 2006, 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church of Fruitport with Pastor Peter Stahl & Pastor Dave Hulings officiating. Interment at Fruitport Mausoleum.
