Mrs. Dallas T. Hermesdorf

HERMESDORF, MRS. DALLAS T. Muskegon, MI Mrs. Dallas T. Hermesdorf, age 91, died Sunday, November 16, 2003. She was born in Muskegon, MI on June 26, 1912 to Sidney & Ada Frank Markle & married Lawry H. Hermesdorf on August 25, 1934. Mrs. Hermesdorf had been a member of Central United Methodist Church where she was formerly active in the Women's Society & Sunday School department. She was president of the Parent Teacher Association of Churchill School, Norton Shores, & served as President of the Muskegon County Council of P.T.A. Mrs. Hermesdorf was active in community affairs & Girl Scouting, starting the first troop in Norton Shores. In her last position, she served as Deputy Clerk for the City of Norton Shores until retirement in 1974. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Cleo Ann Walter Borns & Carol Lynn Ferencsik, both of Muskegon, MI; 4 grandchildren, Stacey David Trowbridge, Kevin Marci Borns, Lauren Charlie Chesney & Char Ferencsik; 5 great-grandchildren, Braeden & Reese Trowbridge, Daric, Cooper & Wyatt Chesney; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawry in 1978. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, November 21, 2003, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Dr. Randall R. Hansen officiating.
