Morris W. Henry

Mr. Morris Morrie Wayne Henry, age 67, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 14, 2017 after his long journey with Alzheimers. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on October 28, 1949 to Morris & Helen (Lewis) Henry and married the former Judi Cierlak in Muskegon, MI on November 23, 1968. Morrie had been employed as a Job Setter for GM & Delphi Automotive Systems for 35 years until retiring in 2006. Morrie was a member of St. Patrick & St. Anthony Catholic Church. He loved horses and raised standard bred harness racing horses. He enjoyed walking his dog, Buddy, to the beach and playing poker with his family. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 48 years, Judi; daughters, Jill (David) Split of Spring Lake, Luci Kunde of Grand Haven, Kristin (PJ Melcher) Henry of West Olive; son, Morrie "Beau" (Lisa) Henry of Spring Lake; grandchildren, Audrey, Rylee, Ryan, Amber, Braydon, Paul Jr. honorable grandchildren, Megan, Jessica and Samantha; sisters, Patty Meyer of West Olive, Maureen (John) Nowak of Spring Lake, Bonnie (Dave) Wesorick of Spring Lake, Kathy (Lee) DeWitt of West Olive; many cousins, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. MEMORIAL MASS Saturday, September 23, 2017, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Patrick & St. Anthony Catholic Church Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Schwartz officiating.
