Montez Hodges

Mrs. Montez (Parker) Hodges, age 98, passed away Friday, September 21, 2007. She was born January 20, 1909 in Ravenna, MI to Albert and Dora (Jones) Baranowski. Montez married Harry Parker, September 6, 1927, and he passed away August 20, 1968. She then married Fred Hodges on November 23, 1982. He passed away in August of 1984. Montez worked for 30 years at Eagle Ottawa Leather Co. and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She was an avid card player, loved euchre, bowling, playing bingo and at age 73 she took up square dancing. Surviving are her children: Betty (Mike) Isaacs, Freeland, WA; JoAnn (Wayne) Dobbins, Modesto, CA; Ione Krueger, North Muskegon, MI and Mary Lynne (David) Lautenschlaeger, Grand Haven, MI; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren. The Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007 with Father William Langlois officiating. Interment at Lake Forest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
