Molly Kay Barnes Price

Ms. Molly Kay Barnes Price, age 54, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at a local hospital. Kay was born March 27, 1953 to George and Audrey (Greene) Barnes in Shingleton, MI. She was employed in quality control at Automatic Spring Products. Kay enjoyed life and was a friend to everyone. She loved music, dancing and laughing and enjoyed meeting people. She was respected by all who knew her. Kay especially loved her sons, grandchildren and daughter-in-law who survive her: Jeromy (Brandy) McCleary of N. Muskegon, Blake Mudge of Ravenna; and grandchildren, Jeromy II, Brianna and Dakota. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Ray (Linda) Barnes, Guy (Kathy) Barnes; half-brother, Terry Floyd; 4 sisters, Carlotta Barnes, Karen Fink, Julie (Jamil) Zara and Audrey (Sam) Vogelsong and special nephew, Randy Varboncouer. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Audrey Barnes; a sister, Georgia Barnes; nephew, Nathan Barnes; and brother-in-law, Randy Varboncouer. Kay had a lot of special friends: Josh, Michael, Brian and Danny of Strange Brew; Don and Rochelle, members of Rythmskool; very special friend, Floyd Duell; close friends, Carl Davies, Mike Wing, Craig Weberg, Deb Wheeler, Dave Vela, Sue Degarno, Lori & Kirby Defeyter, Dave & Melanie Jazdzyk, Rich Vink, Tom Pruim and Cheryl Berry, just to mention a few. She was known as Auntie Kay by her friends at Sporty's and was well liked at work at Automatic Spring in Grand Haven, where her friends and coworkers were very supportive through her difficult times. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 16 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210 with Rev. Lowell Wood officiating. Burial will be in E. Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Kay's family.
