Mitchell Levandowski

Mr. Mitchell A. Levandowski, age 83, died Monday morning, July 9, 2007, In Muskegon. He was born August 31, 1923 in Muskegon to Adam & Helena (Czekja) Levandowski and had resided most of his life in the Muskegon area. Mitch was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, the Rudy & Clem Council of the Knights of Columbus and of the William J. Beal Post VFW #446. On June 9, 1951 he married the former Lucille B. Bayle and she survives him along with 11 children, Mike (Deb) Levandowski, Jim (Cheri) Levandowski, Jean Levandowski, Mark (Diane) Levandowski, Paula (Jim) Baugh, Kay (Kevin) Peters, Linda Cavalier, Dan (Michelle) Levandowski, Kathy (Tony) Schaub, Tim (Gina) Levandowski, and Adam Levandowski; 35 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. The FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 2 PM Thursday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael Olson presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION with Mitch's family will be 6-8PM Wednesday & 1-2PM Thursday at St. Thomas Catholic Church where the Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Wednesday evening.
