Millicent (Millie) Mae Roelofs, 89, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Millie was born on December 13, 1935. She married Donald Roelofs on December 27, 1957 and together they enjoyed nearly 60 years of marriage until his death in 2017. Millie was a member of the former Berean Church now known as Anchor Point Bible Church. She worked as a librarian at Hackley Library and at Muskegon High School Library. She enjoyed gardening, rollerblading, traveling and her many art projects. Millie was a Christ-filled woman, with a gentle, loving nature that made her a wonderful mother and grandmother, and her cheerful, compassionate manner lead to many dear friendships, including with the loving staff of Christian Care Assisted Living. Millie had a heart for service, and in her younger days, she enjoyed volunteering for various ministries within the church and at nursing homes. In recent years, she bravely fought the challenges of severe arthritis, and very limited mobility; she eagerly anticipated the day, when her body would be restored to full health. Millie will be deeply missed.
