Mildred C. Waskin

Waskin, Mrs. Mildred C. Grand Haven Mildred Waskin, 80, passed away unexpectedly Friday May 5, 2006. She was born Dec. 14, 1925 to John C. and Madge (Fling) Nutter in Smithville WV. She lived most of her life in Grand Haven, Michigan and worked at Story and Clark for 14 years where she met and later married Walter J. Waskin in 1962. Walter preceded her in death on September 15, 2000. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mildred is survived by two sons, Thomas (Melissa) Waskin of Grand Rapids and Rex (Beverly) Petersen of Grand Haven; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother, William (Georgia) Nutter of Parkersburg, WV; 2 sisters, Glenna VanMulsen of Muskegon and Geraldine Nicholas of Parkersburg, WV; numerous nieces and nephews; Mildred was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, John "Junior" Nutter and Hubert Nutter; 3 sisters, Jeanette Absher, Louise Dirkse and Jean Evans. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment at Lake Forest Cemetery.
