SHERMAN BERNIA, MRS. MILDRED I. Spring Lake Mildred I.Bernia Sherman, 89, of Spring lake, died Sat. April 23, 2005, at Spectrum Health in Reed City. She was born Oct. 8, 1915 to Myron and Myrtle Berriger Schoolcraft in Cheboygan, MI. Mrs. Sherman had worked in assembly for ATCO Rubber Co. in Grand Haven for 16 years, until retiring in 1987. She enjoyed bowling, the outdoors, camping , traveling, hunting and fishing, but foremost was her family. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Larry Pat Bernia of Spring Lake, MI and Ernest JoAnn Bernia of Leroy MI, a stepson , William Debbie Sherman III of PA; 2 daughters, Teresa Dennis Cuti and Sharon Richard Bolton both of Grand Haven; a step daughter, Beverly Ann Brown of NJ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Rose Schippers of Nunica, Mary Jane Stanley Zimbicki of Gaylord, MI, Helen Clark of Grand Haven; 3 brothers, Richard Norma Schoolcraft, Lorenzo Thelma Schoolcraft, Marvin Ethel Schoolcraft all of Afton, MI; Daughter in law, Mary Lou Bernia of FL; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Wilfred Bernia in 1970, a son, Joe Bernia in 2000, daughter, Gardina Bernia, grandson, Mark A. Bernia , step grandson, Brent Bolton; 2brothers; her second husband, William Sherman Jr. SERVICE Wednesday, April 27, 2005, 11:30 AM at Clock Funeral Home with Rev. William Larhman officiating. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home. MEMORIAL: Mildred I. Sherman Memorial Fund c/o Fifth Third Bank, 100 Third St, Ferrysburg, MI 49409
