Mildred "Millie" Sadowski

Mrs. Mildred "Millie" Sadowski, age 91, died Sunday, June 1, 2008. She was born in Marne, MI on September 25, 1916 to Charles W & Goldie (Lampman) Fowler and married Gene Sadowski on March 15, 1952 in Grand Haven, MI. Millie had been a former business owner of a childrens store in Grand Haven, a ceramic shop in Spring Lake, a former Supervisor at Canfields Manufacturing, a bookkeeper at Barretts Boat Works and a nursing home supervisor in Grand Haven. Millie enjoyed piano, was an avid reader, doll collector & artist, who loved to share her talents & creative gifts with her many friends and family. Millie touched many lives with humor, love, wisdom and support. SURVIVORS Sons, LeRoy (Louise) Walters of Dorr, MI, George (Candy) Sadowski of Fruitport; daughters, Helen (Michael) Reyes of SC, Mary (Ebeid) Girgis of SC, Joan (David) Peterson of Ada, MI; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; special friends, Joann, Yvonne, Ray & Doris, Della & Marv, Johnny, Dorothy and the many postal workers of Spring Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998. SERVICE Friday, June 6, 2008, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Fruitport. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery.
