Michael "Wookie" Lee Wilson

Mr. Michael Lee Wilson, age 33, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on January 29, 1983 to Kenneth & Renate (Dreschler) Wilson and was a 2001 graduate of Whitehall High School. Mike had been employed as a carpenter for Shoreline Restoration and attended Blue Lake Community Church as a child. "Wookie's" greatest adventure was walking the whole Appalachian Trail in 2010. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Mother, Renate Wilson of Whitehall; brothers, Dan Wilson of Whitehall, Tommy (Amanda) Wilson of Wyoming; sister, Nicky (Chris) Hamilton of Grand Rapids; grandparents, Kenneth Sr. (Sandra) Wilson of Blue Lake; son, Grayson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Jr. in 2012.
