Michael Slovinski

Mr. Michael Allen Slovinski, age 62, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on December 12, 1946 to Thomas & Lois (Koenders) Slovinski and served his country in the US Navy. Michael married the former Kathy Hogendyk on September 10, 1971. Mr. Slovinski had been employed as a counter salesman at Kendall Electric for 37 years. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He will be dearly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 38 years, Kathy; sons, Christopher (Sarah) Slovinski of Walker, Matthew (Jennifer) Slovinski of VA; brothers, Jerry (Jean) Slovinski of Muskegon, Thomas Slovinski of Lansing, Paul (Denise) Slovinski of Fruitport. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Friday, September 4, 2009, 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Olson officiating. Interment at Oakhill Cemetery with a Veteran's Service under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council. VISITATION Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon with a Scripture Service at 8:00 PM. MEMORIAL: American Diabetes Association.
