Michael George Sikkenga

SIKKENGA, MR. MICHAEL GEORGE Muskegon Mr. Michael G. Sikkenga, age 57, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005. He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 29, 1948 to Melvin & Dorothy Slicker Sikkenga & married the former Patricia Graham on July 22, 1978. Mr. Sikkenga had been employed as a Civil Engineer at Progressive AE Company for 6 years. He was a faithful and active member of First Free Methodist Church. Mr. Sikkenga was also a member of Michigan Tech Alumni Association, Life member of Muskegon Bowman, Michigan Bowhunters Association, Gideons and Civil Engineer Association of Michigan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed camping & the outdoors. Foremost in his life was God & his family. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife, Patricia; 2 sons, Scott Susan Sikkenga of Muskegon & Brian Sarah Wendt Sikkenga of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Debra Dan Altstadt of Chicago; 5 grandchildren, Adam, Lauren, Bryce, Georgia mother, Dorothy Sikkenga of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Linda Rodney Carlson of Holland & Jeanne Terry Rebedew of Muskegon; 3 brothers, Paul Sharon Sikkenga of Fruitport, Bob Rita Sikkenga of Muskegon & Skip Peggy Sikkenga of Twin Lake; in-laws, Lyle Marge Graham of Muskegon; several nieces & nephews & his dog, "Cody". He was preceded in death by his dad, Melvin Mike Sikkenga. SERVICE Saturday, October 22, 2005, 11:00 AM at First Free Methodist Church with Rev. Don Zimmerman officiating.
