Michael Dennis Shalifoe

Shalifoe, Mr. Michael Dennis Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Michael Dennis "Wounded Knee" Shalifoe, age 74, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on December 6, 1945 to Edward & Cecelia (Bailey) Shalifoe and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He married the former Diane Hackett in 1969 and she preceded him in death in 1987. Mr. Shalifoe had been employed as a Bookkeeper for Muskegon Radiology PC for over 20 years until retiring. Michael was an avid golfer and a member of Lincoln Golf Club. He enjoyed reading, photography, long walks on the beach and his favorite cat, Joey. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Kenneth Bryant of Twin Lake, Michael (Lisa) Bryant of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Derek, Zachary, Brittany, Joshua, Dakota, April, Felicia; 1 great-grandchild, Parker; 2 sisters, Charlotte (Jacob) Paszkowski, Bernice Estlund; 4 brothers, Andrew (Wendy) Shalifoe, Maurice "Koko" (Cindy) Shalifoe, Martin (Carol) Shalifoe, Edward Shalifoe; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, brothers Robert & Terry and a sister Madeline SERVICE Thursday, October 15, 2020, 1:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon.
