Michael E. Root ROOT, MICHAEL E. Phoenix, AZ Michael E. Root died suddenly in his sleep, December 28, 2005. Micheal was born December 23, 1959 in Lawndale, CA. He lived most of his life in Michigan, moving to Phoenix, AZ in February of 2005. Surviving are his daughter's, Amanda and her husband, Jamie Hiler; Rachel Root; Mother, Merle E. Meyer; Father, Merwin E. Root; sister's, Merleen and her husband, Tim Banas; Mary and her husband, William Strand; Maureen Benscoter-Owen preceded him in death and grandson, Ashton Davis.
