Michael Oswald

Mr. Michael E. Oswald, age 57, passed away at his residence July 10, 2007, following a long illness. He was born August 4, 1949 in Muskegon to Edward and Carol (Lake) Oswald and was a graduate of Mona Shores High School. He married the former Sue A. Galekovich-Chaney in Muskegon on June 8, 2002. Mike was a life member of HOG and a former member of the Muskegon and Fremont HOG Chapters. He was also a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles and the Holton Gun & Bow Club. Mike was employed at Hy-Lift Division for 33 1/2 years until retiring on February 9, 2001. SURVIVORS: his wife, Sue; 1 son, Michael E. Oswald, Jr. of Grand Haven; 1 step-son, Danny Chaney, Jr. of Muskegon; his mother, Carol Norton of Muskegon; step-mother, Doris Oswald of Twin Lake; grandmother, Agatha Sturgis of Muskegon; a half sister, Cheri (Mike) Arnouts of Twin Lake; step-brother, John (Theresa) Norton of Montague; step-sisters, Kay (Joe) Brifnek of Muskegon and Karen (Derrol) Kirby of Ozark, AR; 2 grandchildren, Amber and Bryan Oswald. Mike was preceded in death by his father Ozzie in 2005 and step-father Ken Norton 1991.
