Mr. Michael J. McDonald, age 70, passed away of cancer on Saturday, September 25, 2010. He was born in Springfield, MA on May 25, 1940 to Clifford & Mary (Reilly) McDonald. He was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. Mike was active in AA and has touched many lives in the past 19 years as they have touched his. Mike was an avid fisherman and a kind and gentle soul, as well as, a devoted husband and father. SURVIVORS He is survived by his bride of 39 years, Judy (Kapla) McDonald; daughter, Erin (Jim) Eaton; granddaughter, Courtney Eaton; brother, Jim McDonald of FL; sister, Carol (Joe) Albano of MA; sisters-in-law, Maryann (Jim) Karnitz, Kathy (Joe) Huffman; and many loving nieces & nephews. SERVICE Saturday, October 2, 2010, 11:00 AM at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Brown officiating. VISITATION Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
