LORENZ, MR. MICHAEL JOHN Muskegon, MI Mr. Michael John Lorenz, age 81, died Thursday, December 5, 2002. He was born in Blue Island, IL on August 1, 1921 to John & Anna Barenchek Lorenz & married the former Charlene Boettcher on September 23, 1965. Mr. Lorenz served his country in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during WWII & received a Purple Heart. He had been employed as a bus driver for Muskegon Transit, was a member of the American Legion & the D.A.V. SURVIVORS Wife, Charlene; children, John Michael Janet Lorenz, Leanne Duane Bartlett & Cynthia Leon Nickisch; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor ''Dolly'' Schoonbeck; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Boettcher; many nieces & nephews; closest & dearest friends, Mary Tice & Mary Maner. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters & 1 brother. VISITATION There will be a gathering of family & friends on Monday, December 9, 2002, 2-4 PM at the Clock Family Center.
