Michael Jackson

Mr. Jackson, age 64, died July 21, 2007. Born May 22, 1943, in Muskegon, to Mitchell and Geraldine (Puffer) Jackson, he server in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. On June 13, 1964, in Whitehall, he married the former Janet E. Thompson. Mr. Jackson had worked for ARCO Alaska, later at Ott/Story Chemical Co., and most recently had worked for MOKA. He was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Jackson, and sisters, Martha, Geraldine and Mary. FAMILY: His wife, Janet; 2 daughters, Mina (Patrick) Farris of Amado, AZ and Dawn (Brian) Claunch of Ft. Eustis, VA; 4 grandchildren, Josilyn Farris & Austin Farris, and Jackson Claunch and Jacob Claunch, his mother, Geraldine Burford of Twin Lake, a sister, Maria Ruiz of Whitehall; many loved nieces and nephews and families and friends. SERVICE: Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM from Clock Chapel - Whitehall with the Rev. Michael D. Kroll officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Grove Cemetery - Rothbury. Military Graveside Rites will be conductred at the funeral home by Muskegon County Veteran Council. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday, 5-8 PM, at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall.
