Michael Dakin

Mr. Michael R. Dakin, age 65, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010. He was born in Mt. Pleasant, MI on October 27, 1945 to Richard & Eunice (Thayer) Dakin and married the former Carolyn Kozminski on September 4, 1965. Mr. Dakin had been employed as an insurance underwiter and then insurance agent at Jerviss Fethke for 20 years. Michael enjoyed golf and will be missed dearly. SURVIVORS Wife of 45 years, Carolyn; children, Steven Dakin of Holland, Lisa (Patrick) Holman of Las Vegas, Scott (Rhiannon) Dakin of Muskegon; grandchildren, Kayleigh Dakin, Abbey Dakin, Maycee Holman, Erica Dakin, Taylor Holman, Josh Holman; sister, Christine (Michael) Emery; brother, David (Jennifer) Dakin; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Thursday, December 16, 2010, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor David Dakin officiating.
