Burns, Mr Michael Muskegon, Michigan Mr Michael Burns, age 63, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He was born in Muskegon, MI on November 8, 1958 to James & Thelma (Ball) Burns and served his country in the US Army & then National Guard. He married the former Wendi Schnepp on July 22, 1996. Michael was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, fishing, and spending time with family. SURVIVORS Wife, Wendi Burns; children, Sara VanKammen, Peter (Katie) VanKammen, Daniel (Alicia) VanKammen, Bryan (Liz) VanKammen; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Joel (Felicity) Burns, Clifford (Lynette) Burns, Kathy "Cookie" (Dan) Buchner, Wayne (Denine) Burns, Nancy (Greg) Halgren, Matthew Burns; uncle, Bill (Uni) Ball; aunt, Dixie West; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Steven VanKammen, and grandson Oliver VanKammen. SERVICE Saturday, February 5, 2022, 12:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 18975 168th Ave., Spring Lake, MI with Bishop Charles Gould officiating.
