Michael J. Bartels

Michael J. Bartels, born March 26, 1978 in Muskegon to Judy Canter and Michael W. Bartels, passed away on October 27, 2008. He is survived by his mother Judy (Brian) Plouhar, and his father, Michael W. (Cathy) Bartels, all of Muskegon. He is also survived by his precious nephew Joseph Thomas Bartels, brother Steven Bartels, his much loved sister-in-law Sharon Bartels, his "Gran" Madeline Canter, grandparents Gale and Barbara Bartels; aunt Gayle Bartels and Uncle James Canter; best friends, Steve, Andrea and Brad Jensen, Bob Grantsynn, and Ryan Beasecker. Michael attended OVHS, MCC, and MSU. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Canter. Visitation will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice House at Heartwood Lodge, 18525 Woodland Ridge Drive, Spring Lake, Michigan 49456.
