Meta Stoneburner

STONEBURNER, MRS. META Norton Shores, MI Mrs. Meta Stoneburner, age 95, died Friday, February 8, 2002. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 4, 1906 to Henry & Emma Grimm Wittkopp. She married William Brauer in 1929 & he preceded her in death in 1949. She then married Orval Stoneburner on September 19, 1952 & he passed away on December 8, 1992. Mrs. Stoneburner had been employed as an office Secretary & Bookkeeper for Wittkopp Carbide Die Co. prior to retiring. She was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church where she was active in many organizations within the church. SURVIVORS Several nieces & nephews, including Frank Bernard of Muskegon, MI & Barbara Flanary of Kenosha, WI of whom Bill & Meta raised from childhood following their mother's death. Mrs. Stoneburner was also preceded in death by by 6 brothers, Frederick, Paul, Karl, Henry, Albert & Bernard & by a sister, Lydia. SERVICE Tuesday, February 12, 2002, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Mark Zimmerman officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
