Merrill J. Eady

Mr. Merrill J. Eady, age 91, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Transitional Health Services near Fremont. He is survived by his wife D. Alverne Eady, son Carl & Sandy Eady of Grant, daughter Betty & Ron Nelson of Portland, grandchildren Carla & Don Passage, Jean & Mike Uhl, Lisa Eady, Roger Nelson, Karen & Tory Meyers, his great-grandchildren Andrew & Logan Passage, Bailey & Lauren Uhl, Blake & Trent Meyers, his sister & brothers-in-law Donna Eady, Arlie & Florence Hibbs, Robert & Inez Wolff, and Carroll & Marge Wolff. He was preceded in death by his brother Carlisle Eady and great-grandchildren Anthony Passage & Marissa Meyers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM from the Grant United Church of Christ, on Thursday, August 28, 2008 with Rev. Dr. Marilyn Danielson officiating. Interment will be in the Ashland Center Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at McKinley Grant Chapel and an hour prior to service at the church.
