Merlin Lee Drier

Merlin Lee Drier, age 80, peacefully passed from this earth on October 14, 2022 in Fremont, Michigan. Merlin was born in Pellston, Michigan and grew up in Scottville, Michigan where family and friends knew him as Mert. Merlin loved nature and craved the great outdoors. A hunter, a fisherman and an avid birdwatcher he relished walking in the woods just to find peace and watch the animals as often as he could. He was quite the story teller and did just about anything to get his family and friends to laugh. He will be dearly missed by his children Dennis (Liane), Denise (Barth), Dianna (Dwight) and his grandchildren Nathan, Natalie, Megan, Justin, Jared, Abigail and Simon. He was proceeded in death by his mom and dad, his siblings Marvin, Marcella, Marlene, Jock and Beverly and leaves behind siblings Bill, Beth, Bruce and Barry.
