ISLEY, MR. MERLE ''TONY'' L. San Antonio, TX formerly of Muskegon Mr. Merle L. ''Tony'' Isley, age 59, died Thursday, July 26, 2001 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Muskegon, MI on December 17, 1941 to Lamont & Dorothy Harbaugh Isley. Mr. Isley served in the U.S. Air Force & had been employed as a Police Officer for the Bexar County Sheriff's Department in San Antonio, TX for 18 years prior to retiring in 1991. SURVIVORS 6 sons, Daniel Isley of CA, Robert Patsy Isley, Merle Isley Jr., Gerardo Sylvia Isley, Lamont Isley, Jerry Isley, all of TX; 2 daughters, Yolanda Isley & Darlene Isley, both of TX; 11 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 1 sister, Gloria Joyce Russell Edwards of Muskegon; 3 brothers, Noble H. Monica Isley of MN, Richard D. LuAnn Isley of Ferry, MI & Thomas D. Isley of OR; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamont & Dorothy Isley. SERVICE Wednesday, August 1, 2001, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Clifford Lones officiating. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery in Shelby, MI. VISITATION Tuesday, 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
