Merilyn Ellen Conley, age 88, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024. She was born in Scottville, MI on May 30, 1935 to James & Alma (Johnson) Hendrick and was raised by her mother and step father, Edward Visscher. Merilyn married Ronald Conley on in Austin, TX. The couple were high school sweethearts and had been married for sixty seven years. Mrs. Conley had been employed as a Homemaker, caring for three children. Merilyn was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and sang in the church choir. She also enjoyed playing the piano.

SURVIVORS

Merilyn is survived by her husband, Ronald Conley; son, Daniel Conley, daughter, Susan (David) Quinn; siblings Roger (Mary, deceased) Hendrick, David (Lynn) Visscher, and Merna (Bob, deceased); grandchildren, Kristopher (Amy) Kersting, Andrew Kersting, Nikole Dirkse, and Danielle Dirkse of Austin, TX, Misty (Eric) Bostrom; and great granddaughters, Brianna Kersting and Breliegh Masters. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane Dirkse; and brother, Kenneth (Rose Mary) Hendrick of Bourbonnais, IL.

SERVICE

Wednesday, January 31, 2024, 11:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Church officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately after the service.
