MEAD, MRS. PAULA T. Grand Haven Mrs. Paula T. Mead, age 87, died Monday, April 10, 2006 at her home. She was born in Standish, MI on March 11, 1919 to Joseph and Stella (Wietrzykoski) Tomaszewski and married Azel Mead on May 1, 1943 in Standish, MI. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Mead had been a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, which she loved, along with Detroit Tiger Baseball, fishing with her grandchildren and gardening. SURVIVORS Son, Roger (Gaye) Mead of Nunica; 2 daughters, Sondra (Dewey) Ackerman of West Olive, MI; Cynthia (Richard) Heyn-Lloyd of Dillsburg, PA; 3 grandcdhildren, Nevin (Denna) Behrens of Greenwood, MO, D. Steve Shults of Grand Haven, MI, Hope Lynn-Heyn of Smyrna, GA; 2 great grandchildren, Shawn M. and Eric L. Behrens both of Greenwood, MO; sister Cecilia Romaine Skabut of Northwood, MI and special neighbor and friend, Bernie Pellegrom. Mrs. Mead was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Josephine (Stanley) Rasmer, Helen (Vincent) Premo, Daisy (Ed) Lobodzinski, Selma (Joe) Kadlitz; 4 brothers, Bernard (Rose) Tomaszewski, Dominic (Sophia) Tomaszewski, Anthony (Alice) Tomzszewski and Walter (Martha) Tomaszewski. SERVICE Thursday, April 13, 2006, 1:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home with Fr. Wm. Langlois officiating. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 7-9 PM with a rosary at 8 PM at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven. MEMORIAL: Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
