Mrs. Geneva D. McDonald, age 88, died Friday, October 20, 2006. She was born on July 22, 1918 in Muskegon, MI to Charles and Myrtle Maggie Lucinda (Waybill) Brewster and married Melburn A. McDonald on April 5, 1946. He died on November 20, 1973. Geneva was a Life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #3734, had been an active member of the Lincoln School PTA,and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. Survivors include her daughters, Linda (John) DeWitt of Wakefield, MI, Jennifer (Philip) Roth and Jo (Barry) Miller of Muskegon, MI; 9 grandchildren, David (Cheryl) Flannery, Dan (Rachel) Roth, Janice (Greg) Sherwood, John (Janine) Dewitt, Jackie (Billy) Boohers, Jody (Amy) Dewitt, Barry Miller II, Katy Miller (Jimbo Hines), Ryan Miller (Erin Mahn) and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Ebrecht and Nancy (Larry) Vallier-Flannery of Muskegon, MI, and Vivian Field of Gilbert, AZ; brother, George Brewster of Muskegon, MI. A Memorial Service will begin at 6 pm Thursday at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel, where visitation will be one hour prior to service. Remembrances: The Luekemia Foundation or the Heart Fund.
