Mrs. Beverly A. McDonald, age 80, passed away Saturday morning, January 6, 2007 in Muskegon. She was born September 1, 1926 to C.L. (Skip) and Jennie (Joldersma) Cottrell in Muskegon, and was a life resident. On January 27, 1951 she married Robert A. McDonald. She enjoyed reading, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her husband Robert; 3 children, Scott (Marsha) McDonald of Midland, Jeffrey (Kelley) McDonald of Muskegon, Susan (Troy) Curtis of Tucson, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Jessica (Mark) Reed, Alison McDonald, Jami, Michael, and Tyler McDonald; 1 great granddaughter, Ella Reed; 1 brother, Robert (Connie) Cottrell of N. Muskegon; 1 sister, Jean (John) Ashley of Ludington. She was preceded in death by her father and mother. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Timothy D. VanderHaar officiating. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday.
