M.C. Copeland, age 88, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at his residence. He was retired from C.W.C. Textron. He is survived by 4 sons, McKinley, Kenneth, Billy, and Bruce; and 1 daughter, Jacqueline. Services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Mount Zion C.O.G.I.C. at 1:00pm, Pastor Duane Bennett officiating. Visitation begins Sunday, August 31, 2008 from 2pm until 7pm at Toombs Chapel. V.F.W. Post #9388 will perform Military Honors at Sunrise Memorial Gardens and interment will take place in Sunrise.
