May Dell Thomas, age 81, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023. She was born in Shreveport, LA on March 6, 1942 to James & Helen (Gates) Cullen . She moved to Muskegon where she graduated from cosmetology school, joined Zion Baptist Church and married Holman Thomas. May retired from Neway and often said "I enjoy doing nothing and resting afterwards". May enjoyed shopping, decorating, traveling, listening to music and sharing a meal with friends and family. She loved animals especially dogs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind daughters, Andrea Thomas of Muskegon, Mary Ann Gilliam of Ypsilanti; grandchildren, Antione Gilliam, Danielle Gilliam; great grand children, sister -in-law, Joyce Cullen; niece, Ebony Cullen. May was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother James Cullen.
