Maxine Ruth Williams

Mrs. Maxine Ruth Williams, age 95, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 30, 1924 to Barney & Maietta (Chambers) Riddle. Mrs. Williams worked as a secretary to the director of student nursing at Hackley Hospital for 10 years & Paine Webber for 5 years. Maxine was a local singer & sang with the rangerettes, enjoyed cross stitching, crossword puzzles, oil painting, playing the organ, playing cards & telling stories & jokes. SURVIVORS Sons, Theodore John Williams, Larry Mark (Shelly Ann) Williams; daughter, Catherine Lynn Williams; 6 beloved grandchildren, ; 15 great grandchildren; half-brother, David Lee (Sherie) Riddle; half-sister, Mary Loud Riddle-Berth; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & special beloved friends, Lefty and Windy Backer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John "Jack" Williams; step-mother, May Riddle; brothers, Eugene Riddle, William "Bo" Riddle; sister, Kathryn Darling; half brother, Donald Himshaw; half sister, Joyce Dobyns; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Williams.
