Maxine E. Holland

Maxine E. Hornsby HORNSBY, MRS. MAXINE E. Holland, MI (Formerly of Frankfort) Maxine E. Hornsby died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Haven Park Christian Nursing Home in Zeeland. She was born August 19, 1925 in Arcadia Township, MI, the daughter of William and Gladys Brown. Maxine married Lyle L. Hornsby on September 11, 1948. She was a member of Frankfort United Methodist Church, as well as a Cub Scout Pack Leader. Maxine was a passionate and artistic person donating her time and crafts to various organizations and churches. She looked forward to her seeing friends at the Senior Citizens Center. Maxine held a very special place in her heart for her seven grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Steven (Nancy) of Adrian, Eric (Beverly) of Zeeland and Brad (Colleen) of Corona, CA; 7 grandchildren, Maureen, Angela, Stephanie, Allison, Jenna, Lindsay and Kevin; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle on April 10, 1981; brother Clinton Brown in 2005. Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 6 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Frankfort Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Homes. Funeral service will be Tues., Feb 7 at 11 a.m. the Frankfort United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Culver officiating.
