Maxine Christiansen

Mrs. Maxine Mae Christiansen, age 96, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015. She was born in Dallas City, Illinois on August 22, 1918 to Charles & Lili (Carlson) Brenizer and married Thorwald Christiansen on June 14, 1949. Mrs. Christiansen had been a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was an avid reader and enjoyed drawing and crafts, but foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Dale Christiansen and Marc Christiansen, both of Spring Lake; daughter, Linda (Bob Jr.) Jacobson of Freesoil; grandchildren, Robert III (Michel) Jacobson, Sonya (Jake) Bennett, John (Mandy) Christiansen, Brenda (Tony) Wilbur, Brandon (Lenora) Jacobson, Sally (Rob) Oberth; 18 great grandchildren; and various nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thorwald; sister, Ina (Bert) Parsons; brother, Charles Brenizer; brother-in-law, John (Mary) Christiansen; sisters-in-law, Ella Sobatta & Louise (Glen) Folette. SERVICE Friday, June 5, 2015, 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Ken Shady officiating.
