BURKALL, MRS. MAXINE Muskegon, MI Mrs. Maxine Burkall, age 82, died Sunday September 21, 2003. Born October 25, 1920 in Muskegon to Sigurd & Anna Olsen Rood, she had worked as a Teachers Aid for the Community Mental Health Adult Education Program for 15 years, retiring in 1988. She previously worked at Dresser & Norge. Maxine was a member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church, the Women's Circle & loved to sew & knit. SURVIVORS Son, Brent Kristi Burkall of Muskegon, MI; daughter, Colleen Brent Lindquist of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Brooke & Courtney Burkall & Sarah & Benjamin Lindquist; great-grandson, Connor Harrison Burkall; sister, Marcella Rood of Muskegon, MI; brother, Carlton Margaret Rood of Muskegon, MI & dear friend, Lois Larson. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers & 3 sisters. SERVICE Thursday, September 25, 2003, 12:00 noon at Olivet Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Dave Faris officiating.
