ROBARGE, MR MAX A. Muskegon, MI Mr. Max A. Robarge, age 80, died Monday, October 7, 2002. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 9, 1922 to David B. & Anna Anderson Robarge & married the former Gertrude Hoffman in Muskegon, MI on June 29, 1945. Mr. Robarge served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed as a machine operator at Teledyne Continental Motors until retiring in 1986 & was a member of U.A.W. Local 113. Mr. Robarge was a member of Temple United Methodist Church where he was also a collection counter, greeter & worked in the supper house. He enjoyed racing homing pigeons, fishing, gardening, but most of all, he cherished his family. Mr. Robarge had a great sense of humor & appreciated living in Muskegon his entire life. SURVIVORS Wife, Gertrude; 1 daughter, Nancy Bert Harma of Cheshire, CT; 2 grandchildren, Michael & Sarah Harma; 2 sisters, Margery Bowmaster & Doris Albert, both of Muskegon, MI; 1 sister-in-law, Arlene Robarge of Muskegon, MI; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Vernon & Jack & by a sister, Thelma. SERVICE Thursday, October 10, 2002, 3:30 PM at Temple United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Hagans officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 4-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Temple United Methodist Church or Charity of Choice. Clock-Muskegon clockfuneralhome.com
